Title: Raising prices and George.
Post by: [GQC] Tim on January 09, 2008, 04:26:13 pm
I'd like to put up my prices every year or so, by 50p to a pound.

Is there any option you can use to list customers like that in George?

Like query : List all customers that have been cleaned for 1 year.

Any ideas?

Thing is that if I would get a new customer in December, it doesn't go down well if you raise the price that next January, which would happen if I'd put prices up every 1st of January.

Thanks.

I think to be honest you will need to review each account seperately and see hwo has and hasn't been increased, thats what we do.

Regards,

Trevor

Hm, how the heck would you put that in your records, with so many customers isn't that a bit *read very* difficult?

Just look into your history and it will show you what they have paid since you have been cleaning them.

We have over 2000 customers and our Price Increase takes about 2 hours to implement?

Besides, you will know who has joined you recently?

Oh yea, I totally forgot about that little fact, you could actually see the increase in the history, d'oh.

Hm, will brainstorm on this a little bit, my head isn't working, tired. :)

Do you let them know individually by letter or....? How do you do it?

Also is it a set period that you go over the accounts?

If you click on each job which you have to do to increase there price anyway look to the right it will tell you when you first cleaned that job the date.  So you can easiy and quickly see if you have been cleaning this customer for over 1 year.

pritty simple really and of course most jobs you will know if there new or not i no all mine i dont have as many as trever mind  ;)
