get some mesh and make a leaf guard ;)

It's fora customer and needs to look a bit more 'professional', like a neat bubble of wire. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Oh, it's also got to be able to be put in from the ground - no ladders!!!

Hmm, yes, that throws up lots of fancy gutter protection systems. Do you know, I think the thing I'm after would be found in an old ironmonger's shop, next to the bird feed.

That'll be a nesting box then ;)

That's it! Get a blackbird to make a nest in the top of the downpipe! That'll stop any leaves going down it!

Hi Rosy,it`s called gutter grid or gutter guard depending on manufacturer, usually found at most upvc suppliers ;)

I cannot find a nice old fashioned wire one ANYWHERE!
Done the usual searches on the web.

Rosy, best trying the gardening centres for it :)

rosy ttry making some you will need chicken wire or galvanized mesh , wire clippers and a baseball bat.C ut a six inch square of mesh and place it over the thick end of your bat then (wearing rigger gloves) form it over the bat it makes a good fit on a lot of downpipes
