Title: welcome letters
Post by: Cleaner Windows on January 08, 2008, 08:37:13 am
I've just put together a sort of welcome letter to give to any new customers, i think some of you do the same? it's just a friendly a4 letter to say thanks for choosing me and what I aim to offer them. Not only that but also to point out little things like if they don't pay for three visits in a row then they will be temporarily canceled off until the payment/s collected etc etc etc.

Have you got any you can show on here to look at, I'm not sure if mines all that good or if I might have missed some important bits out that I've forgotten about, it would be nice to see some of the more professional looking ones from you guys that have been around a while (he he no offence)  ;)

Nice one!

Yes some people do use a letter. But I dont when they first say they want my service I use a terms and conditions leaflet, which they sign and draw to there attention important things like, payment and cancelations also if they want to cancell for one clean.

I think personally you saying that you will suspend the service after 3 cleans if they have not paid, may give them the feeling they can run you 2 cleans every time. So I would not use that I would put payment by return of post.

but then they could just not bother paying by return of post? surely they could see that as an option to miss many payments unless you said by return of post or you'll suspend? or something like that?  :-\

In my terms and conditions it says there is an accounting charge for late payments.

However to inforce it is another thing.

If a customer keeps holding payment I have a word face to face and tell them, that I expect payment before next clean, as I have so much work I will let them go for a customer that will send a regular payment.

I dont want customers like that.
