Less than £1200. Value for quality is the 1st priority  :)

The above pricings do not mean a lot unless you have perhaps a length reference for the pole, for instance, no-one would pay any of the above prices for a 12 ft pole no matter how good it was!

For the above prices I would expect the pole to be at least 40 ft long.  It would have to be extremely long lasting, light, stiff and easy to use.

You'd have to be some sort of clot to pay more than a few hundred quid for a pole. ::)

It's how you use it, providing it's light and strong.

It's like these people who spend £300 on a driver for their golf bag, then find I still smash it further than them with my £80 job. ;)

Don't blame the tools...

squeaky not blaming no tools same as i put earlier perhaps i went ott on prices . just trying to find out what people really want from a pole . you want light and strong . taken on board . do you want internal external hose . do you want trigger or tap at the bottom . what heights do you want to reach . if i dont ask i dont find out if i dont find out how do i get a good pole produced . thats why i need feed back once i no what im up against then i can take it from there . dont knock me for trying mate .

My pole's about £300's worth. (not what I paid ;))

It's 25ft Carbon Fibre, hose externally (just as I like it).
No taps and triggers and connecters to faff with.
Light, strong, perfect for the job.

If I needed a longer one I'd just buy extra pieces at £80-odd each.

That's all you need.

What can you supply thats different? You want light? buy a Superlight you want strong? buy a Facelift carbon (or maybe the SL-X you want cheap? then buy glassfibre If you want really cheap and really light (30') then buy a fishing pole if your still not sure then buy a Hybrid. There is so much choice at the moment that you would need to come up with something pretty amazing or different - have you?

A simple case of you get what you pay for, fiber glass poles do the job but you feel like you`ve grafted when you get home, good carbon poles do the same job but allow you to work longer.
