Popped in from next door :) Been a sole trader carpet cleaner for 7 years. I fancy the idea of starting a business pressure washing patios/drives etc. as well as keeping my carpet/upholstery business going. I like the idea patios dont shrink and its got to be better than cleaning three piece suites. So basically, is there plenty of work out there and is seasonal at all???

hi there
we carry pressure washers on our vehicles, and they have paid for themselves over and over, we dont promote the facility fully but is is a service in our range, of build cleaning, and larger special project jobs.
one source of work is that most developers nowadays, have their new house builds, brick acid applied and pressure washed. although most sites have their own machine, we get a job at least once a week,
we have one on friday, pathways, and driveways round two showhomes that open on saturday. i would say a couple of hours work possibly three, and we will invoice about £180+VAT
i think if we promoted this service fully, we would put a truckmount on the road, and have it as a dedicated vehicle, we could even expeand our fascia cleaning from that as well.
i hope that helps
