Title: Charging Over the Christmas Period
Post by: cleanimperial on January 02, 2008, 01:44:03 pm
I know this has been mentioned before. In our Contract it states the company will be charged for any company closures ie Christmas /bank holidays. But we never have for this client . I am charging them this time but I know I should have charged from the start. What would you say if they query it.

Thanks Fred.

If you haven't charged before then do you really think it's a good idea to charge this time?

Put yourself in your clients shoes.

Any charges for bank holidays should be built into your monthly invoice.

As above,  state when you charge your clients that the charge is PCM and includes all bank holidays etc, if they say anything act surprised and make them them think they got off with a good deal last time and blame it on your accounts department ;D
