you responded to my other post just wondering were are you from m8 this is what you wrote in my post if you dont mined and you are not near me as i am in leeds west yorkshire could you email me a copy of your leaflet so i can get some ideas my email is
 m.b.s.windowcleaners@ntlworld.com

cheers m8
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I market cons cleaning heavily and have a company print mine up and have them put out in 1,000's.

Cost wise, i charge £100 + per conservatory.......outside only. top to bottom!

Some on here cant or dont understand why i get that much. I use professional leaflets, professional equipment (cons ladder etc) , and am unindated during spring to autumn.

The time to start putting them out is pre spring, im investing in a motor scrubber this yr, it will cut cleaning time by half!

Ask mark at d p print to knock something up for you....he does mine, if your not near me, you may be able to use mine

Its a goldmine out there doing this, a forum member came out with me for a day on a saturday to see....done 4, all priced over £100.......dont undersell yourself.

Mick

I just wanted to have a look at what Mick is doing, I have been cleaning cons for years now and he is so right they are great earners, I have not really marketed it that much if i am honest, it is on all flyers that go out but only one line  :-X

Stirring stuff MBS and Mick, nice to see people taking a lead and injecting a bit of enthusiasm every now and again.

What sort of scrubber are you talking? I've seen a multitask 9v battery one in B&Q and Joes also product trialing one.

The ladders are a bitt bulky aren't they? do you just carry them on the days you do this work? Are they a geniune benefit, or more of a marketing pro thing. Most of us do manage without one and if you had the scrubber you'd have even less reason to use one.
The only thing I have against them is the bulk and the time they take to erect and put away. I do agree they are more pro looking.

The ladder is mainly used when there is a reverse pitch  i.e. the roof slants towards the house and you have to climb onto the roof!!

The motor scrubber is here   http://www.motorscrubberuk.com/  Bit expensive, but im mailing some suppliers in the states to see if i can get it a bit cheaper!!

It looks ideal though, for the finials and roof, would pay for itself in no time.

This might be the thing joe is trialing . It looks good, but some finialls are a bit delicate?
One thing I do notice on this thread, it's all email me this, put it on a plate and do everything for me that. Not many seem to want to inject any fresh ideas.

The dp print guy is great, and so are his prices. He phoned me up because he is fed up of people using him to do artwork and then not following thru (more the carpet guys than us).
What i said to him was the only thing i didn't like about his company was posting the leaflets on the sample website, because I spend time coming up with neat marketing ploys only to have them pinched by public display. He's says they no longer do this.

This is quite a good idea you've stumbled on MBS/Mick Hay.
Professional approach and equipment such as cons ladders and target niche specific quality leaflets.

High margins

Doing a brilliant job.

Equals making a lot of money, can't argue with that.
