The designer obviously has issues with window cleaners, ;D

Its hard to imagine the vine so without that I would do it in about 2 hours doing it carefully using wfp outside and trad extension pole inside (needs drop sheets). charge minimum  €100.00 More if I could get it ;)

The vine a bit of a bitch allright, still reckon I'd do it in about 3 hours and be fairly happy with €150.00, I think thats about £90.00

If it was a good regular customer it would be £250 and i would take my time and leave just after lunch, anyone in there right mind and i`m talking customers will know this is a really S****Y job and it will cost to get it done.If your quoting £120-150 why take it on say you can`t do it and carry on with your regular work, you blokes are not quoting trad prices and we should all have a rule that we should. If it was a one off with maybe a call back once every 2-3 years then i`m putting off my regular work so they will have to pay double,in all seriously i would charge £350-400 as a one off.

Well heres goes I started the outside at 09.00 with wfp & finished that at 12.30 (the frames outside were green)
started the outsides of the rest of the house about 12-15 windows all pretty clean anyway
13.00 went in for lunch with the owners (ploughmans very nice)
13.30 started inside were the vine is, also done the side near the door all done by 15.30
getting short on daylight so customer opts for the rest of the insides of the house to be done instead of the inside of the roof so get on with them 16.00 daylights gone didnt get to the upstairs so thats that

I really only priced the conservatory the rest of the house only took less than an hour and only the bottom inside too  ;D

If it was a good regular customer it would be £250

Well there you have it

Not a bad day in all

And I got a nice bottle of wine for crimbo too

Its really hard to get across in the pics exactly how dirty the windows behind the vine really are after not being cleaned for almost a year & what with the window being completly covered with summer foilage and bunches of grapes and what with the condensation over the latter half of the year, it was only now that the fruit have gone and the leaves had fallen that it was possible to clean at all

How do you clean the inside roof? If you blade it surely you get soaked to the skin? I microfibred one once and used a spray but i'm sure it was crap as i never got asked back.

Getting wet is a bit of a drawback but by far the best way to do it & for this roof in particular I would have insisted that the room be cleared and brought in a tower to work from
