Who has it? And who's had the shortest lasting pump?
-
Mine lasted 4 years but was sticking a lot in the last 3months.
-
Well David
Mine is 75psi, i've had it for over 3.5 years, it's a ready made pump box from cleantech. it's never let me down, i've never even touched it & it's still going strong.
The ready made pump box is ideal at this time of year with all this frost, just un-plug it & take inside at night, a bit like plug & play :D

Your pump willl last a lot longer if you use a Varistream. It is only running at the speed to provide you with the actual flow you require. Not like a bypass system where it is running flat out all the time. Battery lasts a lot longer too. Dai
-
Dpends on your controller and hose, need to get it taking it easy if it`s flat out all the time it won`t last long, although some will say that there designed to run flat out to there capacity at all times in my experience this is not the case.

thing about these pumps is got to get the air out athem
running it with air makes en erratic an over taxes them
after every 25 lit drum change i turn it on fullblast to get
air out and proceed
-
Just to contradict the above three posts.
1. I have no varistream
2. I do have a bypass valve (so it is running full on at all times)
3. My pump always has air in it ( dam hozelok connectors )
;)
Oh, & yes, it's still going strong over 3.5 years later :D

i had a 100psi flojet which lasted a massive six days before diaphragm went :o

guy up the road from me still on his original pump, 8yr old shurflo, don't know how much work he does but he seems pretty busy.

Hi All,
My Backpack pump; a 40psi Shurflo, is a bit worn now after 20 months. Still goes OK. But compared to the new Backpack, it certainly doesn't flow as good.
New Year - New Pump ;) And with a better flow I bet I will earn the £60 back in a couple of weeks ;)

not wanting to brag but this post also asking for shortest life anyone knackered one any quicker than six days ( which is only about 40 hrs or so for me if that) not that its anything to be proud of obviously ;D
