Just tell em no i havn`t got time sorry should have rang me in november, this sort of response will tell them instantly that in the future you won`t be messed about,it will stand you in good sted for the coming year-years that you clean for them. They might get the ump but they`ll respect you for it long term.

It does every year. Never phone until a week before and expect you to drop everything!

I seem to pick up loads aswell, had 8 messages for new cleans when I got back in and three while I was out.

I dont mind one-off's as they get charged more, I say new year will be normal prices half said now the others booked for new year  ::)

I am stacked now this week ontop of reg work and the 2 days after christmas.

now if this happened all through the year I would be one happy bunny.

New ones picked up in Dec get told I'll start them next month (Jan 08) as I look afer my regulars 1st ;D
If they're genuine they'll wait. If they're not, then goodbye 'cause I'm not interested in Mid December time wasters ;D

I am a day in front for a change, so I take on work, but they pay a higher price, what you say is true and many will start in december, I offer both options as I cant say no to new customers.

I've got enough work for 2 weeks must be done this week.

Only trouble is I'm sick! :'(

My first day this week will be tomorrow.  I'm going to try and do it all, probably won't now.  Just glad I'm wfp...I wouldn't have a chance of catching up otherwise
