Hi Martin

If its used i wouldn't bother, it is a 4040 and replacement membranes aren't cheap! You can make a new set up for reasonable money!

The water softener would be I guess worth about £350- 400ish new.  If you live in a hard water area they are a good idea.  The RO about £700ish new and if you need a new ro membrane then thats about £200+.  The fact that it's sold with a ws though would indicate that the ro membrane will still be good.
Worth keeping an eye on.

Simon.
