Title: Water Runs
Post by: traps7 on December 13, 2007, 09:47:35 pm
Hi guys. When squeegeeing windows why does the water sometimes come away from the vertical sides looking like the veins on a leaf? Is it something to do with the temperature difference inside to out? Only seems to happen in the cold but i may be wrong. It "grows" away from the sides about an inch or so into the window. Is it to do with capilary action? This has bugged me for years and i thought someone here might know.

Nothing. This is without wiping edges.

Isn't it to do with hydrophilic and hydrophobic glass?

It could be that Kev but I only think that happens with beading and streaming on water fed pole users but I have never had it with Traditional
