This gooseneck's been available through Varitech distributors for quite a few years now.  The new one has a slightly reduced diameter fitting which makes it a better fit onto the end of the X-Tel poles (they are 1 mm smaller than the old Universals).

I must admit i do like those little no nonsense goosenecks,it looked ridgid and not to bulky. It`s longer than the plastic but not as long as the alloy, although your alloy gooseneck is good and light i would like to see your same gooseneck in the same size as the one on that xtel pole.

That would make 3 inches less than our current one.  Do you think that would be beneficial?  Personally I would find several windows that I couldn't reach if my gooseneck was 3 inches shorter but there may be a market for shorter ones?

I would like you to make a gooseneck that is the same as the plastic one or similar in shape with the top section with thread on about 3- 4" longer in alloy, the plastic one would be perfect for most domestic jobs if the threaded part of it was like i said a few " longer, plastic slightly to short full alloy gooseneck to long.

I know for certain I wouldn't be able to do a couple of houses, they have big big sills. Happy enough with Gardiners neck. :)
