Here is a couple photo i took yesterday of a 40ft new skypole fully extended sorry about the quality i took it on my pnone at the warehouse.
There is no brush head on it as i did not have one handy but gives you a guide and i think shows a good like of the pole which was fully extended at 40ft.
-
i did twice :-\
-
Window Washers ive done it yee haa ;D
-
There`s no brush on that pole or pole hose.
-
Is it me or is that a bit bendy? Would the Superlight 2 look like that if it was supported the same way?
-
Alex has something very special coming out in january beleive me.
-
Am i comparing the wrong poles? NWH have you managed a sneak preview?
-
The pole has no brush head on it as i stated in the post,
I took the photo whilst checking all the boxes and decided to set it up like the well documented magazine shot ::),
the brush heads that can be used with the skypole are endless and weigh as they are detailed.
if you look at the first pic there is a slight bend or curve in the pole, the gooseneck weighs 205 grms. and is the heavy duty / commercial version.

With all due respect that test they did in the magazine is no comparison to extending the pole and using it,in my experience with poles viewing them in brochures or looking at them on websites is no substitute fo trying it in the real world, you say it`s a good pole we will see.

I think that the second picture makes it look more bendy than it is. The first picture is more accurate. The top of the pole is quite straight (I know there is no brush, but there is a gooseneck). The flex seems to be nearer the base. Overall looks quite good, as to how a Super-Lite would look in this 'pose' I will have to have a try soon and take a picture.

Well done Stuart - the gooseneck weight of 205 gm is pretty good, you've certainly used high grade aluminium to achieve that weight with that design gooseneck. Does that weight include the fixing plate that the brush attaches to?
-
Alex,
Your right the top picture is the best i was trying the pole out at full height outside the warehouse but when trying to take the pic i didnt want to leave it stood up so then though of the test done in the PW mag so quickly set up the pole.
All i did was take a quick few pics but im taking the full pics for the brochures next week.
The gooseneck is a total weight at 205grms inc annodised in bright silver.
-
what are the section lengths? Luke
-
Alex,
below is the finished gooseneck,
The gooseneck will except 80%+ of brushes available on the market today (some will need modifying)
The finish is brilliant Silver.
Weight 205grms.

how long are the sections and how much does the pole weigh with all fittings and hose? Luke
ps.will it take Tucker brushes?
-
Luke,
The pole shown which is a 40ft (actual size when fully extended from bottom to top of pole excluding gooseneck is 40ft)
section lenght is 1883mm section 1 and 1900 section 2
total pole weight is 3.544kgs (inc brush head, hose, gooseneck and alloy hose connector)
gooseneck weight is 205grms
diameter of section 1 (base) 33mmOD

so section 1 is over 7.5ft, am I right or was that a miscalculation? And section 2 is 6.2ft? If I'm right that seems pretty long but that weight is brilliant for a 40ft aluminium pole!! well done. I don't think I would buy one myself as even though I am 6ft3 that is a little too long for myself. Well if it fits Tucker brushes I think Tucker users should chuck away their poles!!!! and get a skypole instead! Luke
-
Luke,
sorry my fault its 1883mm top to bottom of the first (base) section.
you can fully extend it from the ground by hand i.e: extending each section up!
Aluminium ? said who ::)!!
-
So thats just over 6.1ft, well thats a bit better, but with clamps and everything it will end up being longer. I was under the impression it was aluminium!!! so is it carbon fibre? oh and does it fit Tucker brushes? Luke
ps how much will it retail for?
-
Luke,
I will double check tomorrow but im sure that includes the clamp on the 40ft,
The material used is produced especially for the Skypole wfp and no other pole type.
we have tested a tucker brush but it did need slight adaptation for the perfect fit which is something we are able to do or talk customers through.
rgds, stuart
Ps. the price cheaper than you may think with the quality of materials used.
-
Luke,
I double checked and it is 1883mm base section.
