My pole was frozen solid, well the water in the tube inside was and I lost over half an hour at the first job trying to thaw it out.
Am going to bring the hoses in tonight, What do you do? I can't be the only one with this problem.

I have ez connectors (tails) fitted to my poles and always let water run out of my poles at the end of a working day so there is no water in them to freeze on cold nights.

Carry a lidded container with very hot water in it, then if the pole hose freezes up put all the pipework in there to defrost.
Also if possible keep the hoses off the ground they tend not to freeze so much then.

Yes, but customers windows aren't freezing because of the heat from the house.
If you do a shop before it opens it will freeze.

And has to be a lot colder than that to freeze in your van.

My hose was frozen, which was a little irritating after all my hot system bragging.
I ran it flamed up for about 40 secs before it jammed. I turned it off tap open and waited while some drips came out, then flamed up again.Sorted in about ten minutes.

Next the pole had frozen, but as i had hot water going in this only resisted for about a minute.

My transfer hose from the IBC tank is frozen, I leave this lying on the ground and this I couldn't defeat. I can't clean windows again till sunday so I am hoping for a thaw by then. If not I'll have to fill direct into the tank.

I've put a couple of candles in the  van for tonight.

Very hard frost here today actually.
Everything was white.
Took ages to clear the windscreen, it's been the same all week.

Nothing frozen inside the van though, not even my bucket.
Started at 9am in -1c, everything working fine.
