Payments over the phone?
I am being asked by more customers if they can pay their account over the phone.
What facilities can I use?
I have a Paypal account which I use on ebay but don't know what info to give customers to enable them to pay via paypal.

i remember reading somewere that Quickbooks can take payments like that over the phone if its all set up properly and conected to the net, proberly pricey.
I also remember ages ago someone mentioning there is a company proberly in the USA that has bar codes in bottom corner of window and the cleaner hovers over the bar code and it takes payment out of the customers bank.
Im sure i seen someone talking about this on here years ago but carnt remember much

Actully its a uk company and i have just found the company who does it this is how it works
We have a unique 4 ways to pay system
There is no need to be present when your windows are being cleaned.
When you sign up you are sent a barcode that is placed in your window.
The window cleaner scans this barcode and leaves an invoice in your letterbox when he has cleaned your windows.
You will then know exactly when your windows have been cleaned.
If you select to pay by Direct Debit then 2 weeks later your account is debited. If you are paying by cheque, credit/debit card or over the internet then you simply arrange payment straight away.
If you are not satisfied then contact our customer care team and we will re-clean your windows immediately.
Our window cleaners are reliable and polite. You'll find they're the best in Kent!

so it can be done over here just need the details :P i think its a good way of payment myself stops customers having to sent cheques and forgetting etc.

barcodes on the window eh?.....what happens if the its the wrong barcode they sent the poor custie and they find they have bought a ferrari or a round the world trip (which the boss at eziclean goes on with his family) 8)

I actually thought the video was going somewhere til the guy started talking and they started cleaning.
2 blokes hugging each other cos theyre going out to clean someones windows, whats that all about?

They must have used actors, uncle,brother etc, no way could they clean windows pmsl. I bet they used the Emmerdale writers for that garbage.
Must add something, my mrs recons they are that slow that you could resole their shoes and cut their hair while they are working. ???

Looking at it know i dont think the barcode takes money out of the customers bank, i think it just sends information back to the office to tell them it has been cleaned.
Does not mean it has though not hard just to go up to the barcode and scan it lol and drive off.

B ar codes and internet payments,i can t see it working for us as most of our clients have nt gone decimal yet. cheers mick
