jeff arent you still using garden plant sprayers as jets?
the fan jets i use give a very uneven erattic fan spray
very uneven
are the garden fanjets do they give an even coverage?
must be a very fine spray

I use a low pressure low flow system. To get a good fan you need good pressure.
I still have ott brush sprays using the hozelock jets, but now use only pencils which just hit the top edges of the brush bristles.

im imagining these garden jets are inbetween
a conventional fanjet and fine mist plant sprayer
get 4 in line and these guys must fully cover anything that comes their way
possibly the ultimate jet
ive 100psi pump should handlle 6 or more
im checking before i invest in these things

Joes Volvo windscreen twin jets sound great, no I have been too busy setting my car on fire trying to make a hot system ;D (joke) I like the idea of fine adjustment of them with a pin though.
Jikwan, the sprays are yellow head irrigation and spray 360 degrees, I used to use them through the head, then used green or blue pencils. Now I make my own out of "Goof" plugs by drilling small holes between 1/32 to 2mm depending on how many I use (currently 4. They are a hole repair solution for the larger Hozelock irrigation pipes approx £4 for 10,put micro irrigation into google. Yes 6 will produce lots of water.

didnt like the pic of your 4 penciljets like trying to drill a hole into the glass
if i understood it correctly......you tried (or maybe still doing)-removed 2nd row
bristles (from the top) inserted jets in that space and angled them to hit the top row?
is that your current method?

the more i think of it the better i like it
using fanjets would give an even distribution and lessen any chance of water penetrating through the bristles
there must be some way of maufacturing them
take a thickish solid plastic bar drill right size hole cut a line on the top of it
there needs to be a substantial wall thicknes

Most suppliers sell brass fan jets, many cut/pull the middle row of the brush bristles out to accomodate the fans. Diy ones dont usually have the finesse to give a neat spray pattern.
No not my current method I go ott will take a pic tomorrow, but its pencils and u want fans ?

im using 2 fans at both ends 1 pencil in the middle
right hand side feed tube is devided by i pencil 1 fan
that way i cover the space in the middle
im looking for a jet that will truly give a fan effect without having to
pump a lot of water through it to get that effect
conventional fans,when you pump just a little water throgh
give a penciljet effect

You will need high pressure and 1mm fans (or less) the high pressure will also deliver the water when the brush is tilted left or right when gravity can rob the higher jet.
Good luck I never found a fan that did itb for me.

Jikwan, heres my current method, drill 4 holes parallel with the bristles, the outer ones angled to the brush edge. Push through the hose and pushfit the goof plugs. Notice the chamfered ends of the brushes, allows more splay. The water jets just over the top of the bristles but when put on the glass with a slight pressure the bristles splay and you can choose whether to rinse or scrub. Blue brush is the new Bentley.

looks impressive
needs some accurate drilling otherwise jetspray could go in any direction
if it does drill oversize hole use araldite
i never got accurate with my drilling
i guess a drill press is neccessary
so for rinsing you just leave topmost bristles on glass as you go down
it should dam the flow and give an even horizontal line of water?

Never thought of it like that but yes, wouldnt say it was even just a flow.
