Title: cleaning over christmas period
Post by: joe.b on December 05, 2007, 07:01:43 pm
hey everyone, i clean a small private school and was wondering if they ask to not be cleaned for say a week or two over the christmas time what do i do, should i say that we cant stop cleaning as i have used a contract of here which i think states that we expect payment even if its on a holiday or something.

thanks

Did you not cover all of this before you took the work on? If you have nothing in writing then I dont see how you can expect to be paid for any occasions that they ask you to not to clean.

The first thing when taking on a new client is to have a contract and T&Cs in place, get everything in writing.

hi why dont you do like we do,  if one of your staff does 10hrs a week, get them to come in at the start of the new year, before schools opens and get her to do two half days, then when they come in they can do a deep clean strip and polish floors etc,

what do you do at summer holidays? ???

thanx jonny jones

let castle take the hassle
