Title: 2nd.Hand Garbonilo Fishing Pole
Post by: L.Doubtfire - The Blade Runner on December 05, 2007, 11:40:28 am

Just been in my local fishing stockists supply place. They have a Garbonilo
14.5 meter second hand that’s 12 months old.The No4 section has had a repair
Other than that its looks in mint condition. The fella selling it wants £225.The
Shop says he`s selling because he`s `skint` and wants some I assume some cash
For Xmas.I bought my other pole there.It`s a `Venom` 14.5 meter.They always
Are open to offers.I know Karl Robinson has this pole and rates it highly. What
Offer do you think I should go in at bearing in mind whats written above?
Thanks for replies.

Well you could buy a Maver Resolution which is the pole that Gardiners used to sell as their Superlight for £270 a couple of months ago.

They don`t do a 42ft one Jeff it`s 44ft,quiet expensive around £850-900 mark but worth the money when compared to other poles out there.

Clamps? who wants them? Nothing to do with looking proffessional it's just a different way of working (and cheaper). Some prefer them that's all.

Could I respectfully mention that all of 10 years ago that ther e wher similar arguments- before forums came about, on how wfp would never work. The new concept taken from fishing poles is the next Future for wfp needs and you can either look at it or ignore it.
Lewis, after 3 months use and being the first to adapt fishing poles I now recommend that Emporium Utralite may long term be beter value for money.

This is my 50ft Super-lite 2

There are some misunderstandings regarding these types of poles and I was sceptical until I held Jeffs one. This one pictured is NOT a fishing pole. It is built using the fishing pole principle specifically for window cleaning. It is extremely strong and very stiff ( not super straight ) and extremely light ( just 1.8kg the same as an 18ft glass fibre!!! ). Look at the edurance videos on Gardiner website:

The sections push fit together. You can put it together suprisingly fast. Would you be able to lift your equivalent pole at this height from horizontal? Well with this it is easily possible because it is so light! The prices are on the website here:

the tubing is outside, and some people seem to think that it is a negative but it doesnt make a difference at all, Luke
