Hi

What are the stains like?

Are they circular, or spill shape, or a faded pastel yellow?

Whats the worktop made of and where in the property is it located?

Regards

Normally bleach will remove heavy stains like curry from formica-type surfaces. If bleach won't do the trick I don't know what will. Sometimes you need to leave it on neat and let it do it's work, but of course there is always the risk of damage.

Steve,

Try white (clear) vinegar or gin using a white coloured microfibre cloth.

other than that use a solvent cleaner that removes marks from UPVC window frames is also worth a try!

But a do test first!

let us know what works!
