Title: SALE - Powerflite CFR500 Pro Perfect Heat
Post by: Joe H on December 03, 2007, 09:44:04 pm
I have a machine for sale - see the link and some detail below

http://www.amtechuk.biz/carpet_cleaning_machines_extractors.php

the CFR Pro 500 is the red/grey machine - about 4 machines down the page!
I bought my machine on Thursday 13th April 2006 (19.5 months ago) from
Cleansmart in Nottingham, an agent for the machines.

The machine has an hours meter on so I can tell you exactly how many hours
it has done - 375 (which is not a lot in just over 18 months).
I had it serviced in March this year at Cleansmart - new seals on the pump.
That service was done early because I had a contract just coming to an end
in a pub in Warrington. Really dirty water had been passing thro the pump
and possible extra wear on seals etc. So had them done then shortly after I
finished the contract. Fortunately most jobs are not like that pub was.
Condition is good. Visually it has some scuffs. But all the bits work.
Before parting with it I would replace one of the two short power leads
exiting the back of the machine as a pin has broke - still works but it
would be repaired.

The machine has 2no 2 stage vacuum motors and a variable flow pressure
pump - adjustable up to 500 lb/in2 (lots of commercial start up machines are
100 or 135 lb/in2). It has a pressure gauge.
Also a buillt in in-line heater which heats the water after its gone through
the pump. Thi is important because very hot water in the tank passing thro
the pump can damage seals. The solution pipes also wrap around the vac
motors drawing heat from them too.

Its a large machine, like a wheelie bin, and heavy (it is a proper machine)
but it has an extra pair of wheels on the top so it is dead easy to get into
an estate car or van - and over high doorsteps at clients houses.

Looking for £1300 complete with 25' of suction and pressure hose.

This might be a dumb question and I think I know the answer, but do you HAVE to use CFR tools with this machine?

I love the Wonderwand so am keeping it. I know some dont like w/w so I thought wont sell it with just in case. Let the buyer choose what suits them.

would you consider selling with the w/w and if so how much for it all
why are you selling?

I am selling because I have bought a 3x3 stage vac machine - upgraded if you like. Does not mean to say the CFR is not a good machine because it is and I will still sing its praises.

Wands are a bit personal, use what you like and suits your style. Not everyone likes the Wonderwand, many do including myself so I want to keep it. A new replacement W/w would cost about £480. You can buy less priced wands (and dearer). You may even get a 2nd hand W/w or other type from advertising on here.

Now Xmas is out of the way and its time for pyu guys to think about investing in the future, the machine is back on the market for sale.
Now has 387 hours on it, but everything else as described.

This is a very good start up machine that will not need replacing in the near future (the tendency for newcomers is to buy what they can afford brand new then 4 month on find it is underpowered), or for someone to upgrade to.

Email me if you want to, or via my website.
Would love to demonstrate to potential buyer in Warrington but would be willing to deliver within 100 mile radius if buyer has not got right transport.
