Title: can i do this?
Post by: paul_smith on November 16, 2004, 04:29:11 pm
I have been asked to clean a suite ,cream colour, lable says it is 48% viscose, 39%  cotton, 13% nylon, and 23% buxton.
Is it OK to wet clean this? i would be using ms from sollutions
if ok.
Thanks Paul

Hi Paul

Do you know if this suite was bought from Laura Ashley?

Paul

I am assuming the 23% Buxton relates to the checked pattern that must be on the suite,  this would be the part thats cotton.

Does this sound right? does it have a checked pattern on it?

Paul,

I wet clean almost all materials ,  subject to a colour bleed test.

With this type of suite I would make sure not to get it too wet.

Cheers,

Doug

yes agreed,

90- 95% of suites nowdays can be wet cleaned safely with just a few precautions.
