Search "working at height legislation uk" on the internet, will take you to loads of info and you can then gleen what you require from it.

Why oh why do people think it's about banning ladder use and for commercial only....you should have already adopted this legislation for any property that you clean at ::) ;D

The only ladder which should be banned is the one running down my wifes tights this morning as she left for work ;D

Seriously though I keep reading these silly posts about ladders being banned and wfp being banned.

No government department or water company has made any kind of announcement on either and when they do that'll be the time to worry. So until that happens can we stop scaring ourselves?

Check HSE website for up to date info.

See www.hse.gov.uk/falls/regulations. Also www.hse.gov.uk/falls/ladders

I had a customer tell me he had seen the WFP ban on the southern news then asked me to clean the leaves from his gutters
