I haven't voted for any of the above as I don't think any of those options will apply.  I believe it would get banned in a severe drought situation but not  during a hosepipe ban.

Very big possibliity it will be. The public will make sure of it, With more and more WC using WFP on domestic it's just a matter of time. When the hosepipe ban laws are changed people will be up in arms with the amount of 'wasted' water they see WFP Window Cleaners using. There will be a big increase in complaints to the relative authorities which will increase the spotlight and they will be forced to act.

The 'what about my livehood' won't wash as being in business is about adapting to change.

I can see WFP window cleaners having to be registered/licensed with water companies for any water they use or face heavy fines. They will have to pay premium rate for water use, like fuel, in an attempt to make WC's save as much as they can.

Hi Martin
i think in Leeds we won't be affected by too many water shortages(its too wet) so for the future we should be safe, it could be a problem down south!

it would be interesting to know if those posting actually used the pole or were trad , i think there is envy of wfp from trad guys , personally if there is  a ban i would sell up and do something new , i,m not breaking my back falling off a ladder again, once is enough

To be honest some envy wfp others just out right hate it and do well from people that tried wfp didnt know how to use it properly and packed up after a month of using it.

I used to be trad, would I go back to it, the answer would be yes, I only went wfp because of an accident, had looked into it alot, but that was my main push, I would not go back on ladders all day everyday.
