Solvent cleaner will shift almost anything...go and see your nearest window installers, they use it to remove mastic from newly installed windows. Or a scraper, with moisture, never dry, can get under most things.

vivaro had my mate call in whose company fit all these vinyl/plastic lettering he says generally internally its water based adhesive so a fine misting of water from a sprayer and some good scraper blades will do it.... he also said if u remove the plastic with an hairdryer the plastic and the adhesive normally come off in a one go hope u manage to get the job completed 2morrow

got plenty of upvc cleaner solvent and cream , throught about trying tomorrow
cover it with solvent to softened adhesives
put some cream cleaner on glass and rub with mild scouring pad
and them wash glass
could i use a wire wool or something else which will not scratch glass
