Title: could have had ££££ only if i was dishonest

just cleaned a nightmare rug 100 bleached cotton tasels 6 inches long with polyester islands of what might be best described as small fingers !

hung it up to dry and out droped a large piece of bling, rang the customer and said "have you lost anything lately" 

got a gasp and is it a gold ring with *** diamonds in a   ***** setting.

I had not a idea what they ment, but they where at our plant inside 40 mins lady very tearfully happy and wonder what she'll do when i take the rug back?

ring is apperently is worth £30k

if my tips less than a £100 I'm going to have a right mardy !!!!!!!!

well done paul i would of done the same as you , you will earn many more pounds with the work  that will come off her friends then selling the  ring

Paul - with the customers permission of course, why not try and get it in your local rag, together with your phone number?

The news story is an excellent idea, although come on Paul own up, you had already thought of that, you nicked it last year and hid it in the rug.

But now he's got greedy and even set up a rug plant facility. ;D

Paul a massive PR opportunity here. As said above get on to local press asap,loads of milage in this.

Found in his NEW RUG  CLEANING PLANT whilst cleaning a customers rug etc etc etc ;D ;D ;D

Be careful, the ring may have been paid cash and the owner may not want any publicity, make sure you check first.

yes your right there we do a lot of detailing for young lads that are 20 and driveing 60k motors and they havnt got a job

 at £65 per hour and three days to do a full detail it does nt come cheap and its always cash, you have to be very careful on what and who you say things to as it may open a can of very nasty worms

all ready on it best bit is the owner is right behind it as totally chuffed and he a local celeb as well!

Story is not in the same league but found an ipod nano outside custy's
house. Turns out daughter lost it this morning. Result is £5 tip and two referrals.
