Does anyone get much call for Fabric roller blind cleaning?
-
nope
-
me neither, thankfully, not as bad as venetian blinds I would'nt think but still bad.

We get asked to do them as part of our EOT work. Never had any success cleaning them so when any come up now i just tell them that we can't do much with them.
If anyone has cleaned any succesfully then i would be interested to know how they did it?

coincidence,
I got asked to clean roller blinds in a conservotary only last week, 16 window blinds and 12 roof blinds,
I tested by misting m/s and towelling to see if any adverse results, plenty of dirt came off and was acceptable for custy, problem was the price wasnt acceptable :'( Quote " I could buy new blinds for just a little more" ;D so didnt get the job.
cant understand really I got the suite and carpets to clean :(
I would imagine that extraction with a cfr or drimaster would do a good job, or a barrier of some kind over an upholstery tool !!!

same here a friend has shop that has them, and needed them cleaned as a favour,I asked how much they where and they only cost £90 for three 10 foot long, smiled and said go for new after 3 years they had faded anyway.
think they are really a disposable item
