I am having some problems getting my goose neck to stay glued on pole i have been using araldite any others i should try or should i buy i new goose neck and start a fresh? photo is not of my goose neck but looks the same.

how are your problems affecting you, reason I ask is I have never had mine glued & its never caused me problems
-
hi the original bit on the goose neck was attached to a threaded bit which promptly snapped about a month after i bought the pole so then a have tried a series of different fixes which none so far have worked the end which connects to pole is just slotted on no thread . hence i thought glue would hold it on still manages to work its way loose

A small self tapping screw?
just like you would put in a broom handle to keep it on
Andy :)

Mine is a push fit into the brush where I have a screw to hold it in place, the other end pushes onto the pole, the top glass fibre section had to be shaved slightly to make room for the g/neck

If cannot use a screw or bolt because you havent enough room in the pole because of the pipe. Try a Jubilee clip they can really tighten right down.
If needed cut 2 slots in the alu tube with a hacksaw to get them to close up.

i have the gardiners goose neck to, it would be good if the tapered cone had a spring button like the unger cone, the 2 holes would be on the goose neck to fit, this would stop the twisting

If you bought the pole from us new and you had a problem within a month, I'm sure we can sort the problem out for you. Email me your number and I'll give you a ring so we can discuss a permanent solution for this.

i bought it from sair i think the name tony comes to mind its not a major problem just an irritating one here is my no. 07960788239 though i don't think it's your problem not sure if he works with you . I generally try to fix problems as i go as when you are working you don't have time to wait for someone else to fix things.

We supply Tony (Sair) with some of our products, so we would be more than happy to sort this out for you. I will give you a ring during the day.
