Post by: colley614 on November 26, 2007, 05:12:23 pm
Well I don't know about you guys but since next year my water fed pole and my ladders are going to be banned I am going to take stilt lessons so that I can do upstairs windows when these bans come in to place.

There is no law against that is there?

 ;D

Just make sure that the wood for the stilts comes from "managed" forests or you will probably get nicked under some environmental law.

Dont suppose any of ya saw Ewan Mcgregor on Parky last week? He went thru Europe on his latest trip to Cape Town,South Africa. He said, we just dont realise how much we're being filmed in this country. Can't do this, can't do that. Can't park here, can't park there. Fines for this, fines for that. I know we all know this, but how much more can we take as a nation before we tell these dictating tw*ts(ban me......again) to stick it up their bottoms(sorry to those namby pamby wooly lefties whom are offended by my loose tongue) That's another thing we're being told not to do. Speak liberally. Maybe an 18 certificate would be an appropriate thing to have on CIU. Then we all know where we stand. Sick of it.........Sick of it..... >:( Not aimed at the mods at all, just another example of us being told how how to think and feel. Give it 60 or 70 years and our kids will be a bunch of Metal Mickies nodding and agreeing and nodding some more like the bunch of zombies they're turning us into. Big Rant Over........

Reminds me of one of our long gone guys.... sat in van having a smoke, finishes and flicks the dogend out the window. He didn't realise a bloke was walking by, who promptly picked it up and flicked it back in through the open window, lands in our guys cup of tea (what a shot!!!) Our guy jumped out to show him and they ended up having a good laugh over it and the bloke lived across the road so he made him another cup of tea.....wait for it...yes he became a customer too!!!! wouldn't recommend that form of canvassing, but gave us all a giggle ;D
