i was wondering if anyone has come across this problem before?
working away today and my battery started cutting out, took battery out of my backpack and checked it was connected ok,it was, every time i tried to start it it wouldnt pump any water and was making a kind of higher pitched noise, any advice would be appreciated

I've heard that sometimes you need to push a little thumb pump on the backpack sometimes, this might be the problem, Luke
-
Sounds like an airlock. Disconnect your pole hose from it and wait until it starts pumping again before reconnecting.
Are you using a filter when pouring the water in. It could be debris in the tank.
-
But I heard that there is a thumb pump for air locks somewhere on the unit, like a primer, Luke

there is one on the lid, when the pump is running it draws all the air out of the tank,
you need to press the black button regular, found this out myself, as it metions nothing about in in the instuction manuel, if you look at the lid you see the black button in the middle.

yep me too, ive not really tried the black button, but i think it just easy to disconnect the pole hos, especially when the backpacks on your back lol

Tried the black button over the last few days - doesn't always work. Sometime you have to disconnect the pole hose to get it running again.
