My new site has been live for about 6 weeks now.
As little as I understand, but I believe it can take 4-6 months to move up.
Having said that mine was on page 3 of Goolge right from the start.

Are you sure they doing what they said they would do?
Has to be resubmitted to the search engies regularly I have been told.
Needs search engine optimisation too - I'm not into that but they should be - depends on what you paid for.

Have a word with them.

Mine was done by www.rodesign.co.uk   - take a look at his website.

Paul....... mine was DIY template from hosting......it started off doing well with my links but had been really slipping. There was nothing else i could do but hand it over to a 'pro' ............. the site does look slick and the SEO he has done is seriously good................ he charged me less for whole site than an SEO company does to bump your own site up  :o

As far as i am concerned, even though he drinks Fosters by the half  :-X ..... the man is a genius  ;)

Averaged 1 email a day and 2-3 calls a day since you took it over 3 weeks ago  :o

Getting chased about LINKS page so that is next thing to finish and that may even up the rankings again  ;)

24th out of 2.4 million worldwide search   :o

Is his company rodesigns then or are we talking about two completely different people? Mark doesn't have any contact info on his sig.

I'm about to throw my hands in the air and give up on DIY. I need results!

Although having high ranking for carpet cleaning is good people tend to search for carpet cleaning essex(specific area) as opposed to just cc.Try using the i'm feeling lucky button for your specific area I think that is a better indication  for your site.Somebody looking for cc in Glasgow is more likely to search carpet cleaning glasgow than just carpet cleaning.

Chris, it due to the non reciprocal link that I have on my SDC site that links to Straker cleaning, that's why your site is so high.   :)

He is a talented lad  :)

Perhaps you can ask him to put an SDC link on the new site  ;)

Also on another note, I have just found someone that can supply me with excellent three stage vacs for £100 !
