so i said to my neighbouring wc hows it going?
.........i got a new pole got a new brush
pole a real lightweight ally 18 ft
huge 16 vikan on the end
hell what a weight
almost as bad as my gardiners 18 foot+ 10" vikan
can cut 50%+ off the brush
need a drill woodsaw hacksaw
save hauling 100's of kilos a day

I think you must be referring to the 18ft Universal pole. Good pole, but as you mention a little on the heavy side. We now use the 17ft X-Tel poles which are more flexible, but nearly half the weight. We gave up using Vikan brushes ourselves due to the nearly 1/2 kilo weight of them, we stick to Super-Lite Bentley brushes now.
If you switched to a 17ft X-Tel and a Super-Lite brush you wouldn't know you were living!

served me well
exept for the exhaustion factor......the weight!

I can't take the credit for the Exel Universal pole (18ft). I just chose the colour and section length.

18ft Extender and Lightweight Salmon Brush. WFP Heaven for domestic work.
