Pilgrim Payne in London W10 are the royal Warrent Holders

This does'nt mean that other people are not invited to work in the royal Palaces. The work is organised by the comptroler of the Queens Household, not sure who the current one is. I.ve done quite a bit of fitting over the years but not so much latley.

Many years ago I was engaged by the Crown Commissioners to do some  restoration work at a palace, but it was made very clear that I was not expected to publicise the fact, let alone suggest royal appointment.

They also seemed pleased that I had an unmarked van.

One problem is that if payment is not forthcoming within the agreed time, you cannot take County Court action to recover the debt. ( Not that they were tardy in payment)
