Hi
For those of you that have employed your own leaflet delivery guys
how much do you pay them do you pay by hour or amount they do
at the moment i am paying £6 per hour for 10 hours a week which gets me about 1200 delivered.
cheers nick

£25 per 1000 delivered hope this helps
-
£10 per 1000 (my leaflet as well as 3 or 4 others)
-
who do you use skywalker??
-
2000 for £20
-
does anyone employ people directly ive used companys before at these sort of prices but had to many problems thats why i decided to employ someone direct and just wondered if anyone did the same
-
I use a guy around the corner who delivers for a company and has a team of delivery guys. Known him for years so does me a good deal.
-
Nick, surely 1200 over 10 hrs isn't so good? I know different areas take longer but you should be looking at 300 per hour (terraced not many gates) or 100 per hr (detached with paths)
-
they go out to detatched and semi houses sometimes its slightly more than 1200 i no terraced houses would be more but the response isnt as good
-
the going rate round our way is about £40 per 1000.
steve, skywalker, deep clean - presumably yours go out with several other leaflets or a publication of some sort??
-
hi i can get in a local free paper delivered for £20 per 1000, they put it in the chronical and they are called door 2 door
-
Yes as I said mine goes out with a few others.
As my leaflet is only one sided I am looking for someone to take up the reverse side thus halving my costs. Ideally id have liked another cleaning firm of some sort but a woman i know is interested in taking up the reverse side for her beautician business. If she does then it will only cost me £165 to have 20,000 leaflets printed up and delivered!
-
yip mine goe out with no more than three at a time
-
Is my logic off?
If you have someone elses ad on the 'back' it's the toss of a coin as to whether yours gets read, because it's bad enough trying to get people to read one side.
At least you would have a fighting chance if you printed testimonials on the back or another service YOU provide.
-
False economy having your leaflet delivered with 3 or others .Pay a little extra and have it delivered with one more maximum.
