Hi
A friend of mine has some white leather dining chairs. Please could anyone recommend a product for cleaning them.

As part of your office cleaning I would imagine you come across leather chairs in the offices. Suprised you not into cleaning them as an add-on to your service.
Both LTT at Harrogate and Furniture Clinic at Newcastle will be able to help.
Would be useful if you know what type of leather as some are easier to clean then others.

Hi Joe
The chairs in the offices we clean are normally black leather and wiped over with a damp cloth and buffed dry. Because this is done on a regular basis the dirt does not get ingrained. My friend chairs because they are white leather and of domestic use have become ingrained with dirt.
Thankyou for your answer and i will check out the sites mentioned.

Hi Karl
A lot of dining chairs are bicast leather (even the white ones) and the results that you get from cleaning would differ from leather. If they are leather then they meay be suffering from a certain amount of dye transfer which needs cleaning in a slightly different way and resulta will depend on how long it has been on there.
Do you know the type of leather it is? We will be able to give you much more help if we know.
The website you can see on our web address at the moment is a consumer site as we are still developing the trade site. If you want more information please do not hesitate to ring.
