I have a job in the morning 'First job of the day' A house that has egg on 3 of the windows...
She said the windows have not been done in 4years :o
But the main thing is the egg... It has been on the window since halloween and its quite thick...
How do you guys get on with removing egg with wfp?
Sorry if this question has been asked b4.
Thanks
Neil

I have no tfr :-\
And i have no ladders at the moment as im waiting on new roof rack to turn! Otherwise i would get up the ladders and scrape it of
-
I had one last wk, I did the egg window first gave it a soak then did all the rest then came back to the 1st it came off just like fresh bird crap ....... No problem
-
Easy,
remove your brush and screw on a taper adapter cone like on the end of a normal pole used for applicator or squeegee,
use a scraper that fits on the end of a pole like the Triumph scraper and then turn on your water squitring out the end of the pole hose and scrape away, takes only a few mins from start to finish, then re-fit brush and carry on as normal ;)

Thanks guys :) So Chris, you didnt use anything but water and your brush?

i tried using just pure water before and it takes ages! you guys not found you have to scrub for ages??
i just got a 10 litre pump sprayer thingy me bob! it will shot to around 3 storeys in height, so for a 2 storey house would be fine.
i know you've got it in the morning neil but load yourself up with some tfr comes in mighty handy...looks like your just gonna be scrubbing like mad, although i wouldn't of thought it would come off but if these guys say they've got it off before then you may well.

I told the customer it may not all come of on the first clean with wfp! They was ok with that... :) so thats fine.. i will do my best! i have a hours pay to do it

Done the job this morning, couldn't get all of the egg of the window with wfp alone! Customer was happy with what i did do and the fact it will come of after a couple of cleans! Just after i finished it started P1ssing down >:(
On top of the rain... when i was transferring my water from ibc to van tank i went to make a cup of coffee.. when i come back to the the van there was water coming out of all 3 doors 'back and both sliding doors at the side' :-\ The hose somehow pushed itself out.
What a morning

What do i do put the tfr on the brush and then scrub it?
-
i noramlly squirt it on to what needs agitating, give it a couple of minutes then scrub and rinse as normal.

I see what u mean... But if this is the case i might aswell get the ladders out and clean it by hand! would take 5minutes..
Thanks

easier than getting ladders out, and if thats the case why didn't you do that today and get the job done properly?

I dont have a roof rack on the van at the moment, 'MY DAD POPED OUT IN IT AND DROVE UNDEER A HIGHT RISTRICTION ::) AND EVERYTHING COME STRAIGHT OFF, 2 SETS OF LADDERS AND CLAMPS AND IT BROKE THE RACK' I have ordered a new one and im waiting for it to turn up... So i have to make do with wfp ..
-
so it would be eaier to TFR it cause you ain't got any ladders? ;D
trust me anyway its not quicker, you've got to get the ladders off, put them up, srcub it or blade it off, put the ladders back on the van.
grab you tfr, squirt it and scrub it off, peace of p...ie ;)

something silmilar, works on a pump action to build the pressure in the container ;)
20ft? your two storey house must be an industrial unit ;) ;D

I had one and asked the householder to pour a few kettle loads of hot (not boiling) water down the egg to sofetn it before a started.....I have no ladders and it was 1st floor with no direct opening access. Worked well.
