Hope you can see?? been asked to quote for some window cleanining the windows are tinted, they have marks that looks like water running down them will this just come off or will i need to do some thing special?
-
Part of me says there's breakdown in the rubber seals, but it could be some residue coming off the frames or the metal above.
By rights you should need to get a close up, face to face look, failing that explain you have some concerns and wish to try a trial on one of the windows,(if using wfp). If you are trad then the job would be easy enough to get a good result.

so if done trad it will come up good??

Might need a bit of an extra scrub but yes.
-
wheres the tint Ronnie , is it on the inside surface the outside surface or between the panes
-
ill be totally homest and say im not sure iv felt the out side and i dont think its there but im not sure how i would tell?
-
If it on the outside the window will have a silvery look to it and any small water spots will appear brown on the surface. If its outside then the staining could be very difficult to remove
As said above try one pane before you sign a contract, It might turn out to wash right off and your quids in

Get a disclaimer signed first! If the windows are tinted they'll probably have some 3M coating on them - if you damage it it'll cost a fortune ::)
-
why don't you clean one and then take it from there.
-
would clean one but its 40 miles away im putting the quote in and explaining a few problems there may be.
Thanks
