-
It aint stopped here for the last 36 hours :-[ And, you guessed it.....my busiest week. :'(
-
Yes, I'm stuck indoors here in Surrey also.
Every time it stops for ten minutes I get ready to go out and it starts again. :(
-
i went out
i did 1 house
it hammered down, i arrived at the next, the old boy was leaving in his car, wound the window down and said " its really raining hard, your not going to do them in this are you "
-
nice and clear here ::) I bet it will rain the rest of the week through :(
-
its ok on anglesey was bad i think thursday last week though got behind with stuff,
waiting for cloths to dry forgot to get the buggers out of the wash :(
-
i woke up to about three inches of snow this morning glad got no work today
starting to melt though will go out leafleting a little later
-
Chucking it down here, got two houses done (and i think i missed a window) packed up now. :(
-
I didn't even bother venturing out. But i do kinda get a buzz knowing i aint suffering all alone ;D I'm gonna put my waterproofs on and go and canvass for the rest of the day. Yeh right ;)
-
Just come home now, done 3 houses.
Looking at the satellite pictures it's going to rain for a few hours yet.
Not bothered, I've got plenty of good work to do later in the week anyway.
-

How do I get it? Use the address above.
What do I use it on? My computer. ;D ???
Oh yes, it's accurate.
It has to be, it's not a forecast, it's the actual rain clouds.
Strange question though WW... ??? ;D
-
go on, go on, go on.
That's what the wife is sayin dave. But i can just see the punters faces now. The last thing i need after a frustrating morning is all the snidey comments that are bound to follow :(
-
First one today custy says "you can't do it today because the hubby's motorbike is out the back." thats ok i said i'll work around it "but you'll get it wet" can't be any worse than rain i said. I get round the back and its all locked up and strapped with a heavy duty cover all over it. People wonder why they can't get a cleaner? Tight fisted pizz takers the lot of them.

Ah right!
Lol. ;D

Was dodging showers and heavy rain all morning had enough so came home not to bothered as i am up to date and not a lot of work on this week
Dean
-
I've given up and am back home for the day now. Got soaked several times trying to dodge the showers
-
All I did today was a bit of early morning office cleaning. I do work in anything up to moderate rain but I don't see the point of getting soaked if I'm up to date with my work.
-
Blimey, honest sensible people around today. ;D
Wait until later when others come on saying they worked in monsoons and earned hundreds of pounds...

Unlucky Matt.
Hope you have a better day tomorrow. ;)
Like I said, I only did 3 houses.
One was 17p, one was 14p, and the last one was a whopping 23p.
So that's a corking 54p today!
Trouble is, I bought a Mars Bar on the way home... :(
-
matt
if you had done your £750 job yesterday you could have gone back again today telling them you have moved them in the 4 weekly cycle. then call again in three weeks because of xmas.
just a little tip i picked up from some one around here.

its not rained here in the midlands all day (much)
i have been running round so fast spraying water everywhere that people think its raining.
this is how i can do 400 houses a day at 50 pence each.
today i have even cleaned customers houses that have not actully asked me yet. but i know they will one day.
i think its the same in wales

It's coming ;D Aint worked at all this week so far, but i'm hoping for a better end to the week. I aint had a weekday off for about 3 months so i can't beat myself up too much. This is my "unpaid" annual leave ;)
-
i can't beat myself off too much. ;)
Hmm, are you sure meant EXACTLY what you just said? ;D Theres plenty of sites on the net to help you out with that if you do have too much time on ur hands ;D
Anyway, as for the weather, Im rather dogged off with the BBC, no doubt it wont be the last this winter; but by their reckoning it was gonna lob it out of the heavens from 8am onwards all day. Its barely spitting outside at the mo, Im in Hampshire.
The weather map on the box last night looked like a right old wash-out, it aint the first time with the BEEB and it ownt be the last.
What gets me about their forecasts is they have 'em on the net, on national tv, local tv and teletext, NEVER EVER are their forecasts from different outlets the same. According to the local BBC forecast its gonna be good on Tomorrow but the BBC website has (http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/images/symbols/fiveday_sym/14.gif)
If Id have known it wasnt going to rain Id have gone in, but they all seemed so adamant it was gonna be a washout I stayed at home.

Nothing to stop you starting now! Based in hants today and the heavy drizzle has been non stop since mid morning, but hasn't stopped us ;D
-
Each to their own, I find wet weather difficult to justify working in.
Having said that, you been on here all morning, according to your posting history.

By "us" I presume you mean "them"? (While you sit in the dry by your computer?) ;D ;D

Exactly ;D ;D
We can all do that

I know exactly what ya mean though Matty. I thought it was gonna be a shocker like monday was, from what they were saying. Wet,yes.....drizzly,yes.........Could i have worked??? Probably. Although i woulda got loads of snidey comments, i'm sure. But yeh, they gotta sort their lives out at the beeb. The only forecast they ever get right is our license fee increasing year in,year out ::)
-
according to bbc weather it was gonna chuck down all day in brum just got in
and ive only seen a few spots all day :)
-
i worked till 2 today, well it was 1 really as it started to hammer down then but when having a cuppa inside this house i saw a few marks on them, went outside and came back in and said " they were on the insides " she replies " i know but i cannot do them "
so i did them ;)
she was happy as she has clean insides and i was happy with the extra few quid whilst it rained ;)

You can do a good job rain or no rain, shouldn't have to justify it. ;)
Yes I have been on here this morning, something to do with working till 22.00 yesterday and having some time off ;D
-
The whole idea of having staff, you get them to do the work and then you pay them ;D ;D
Have done my time in the not so nice weather conditions as you have Ian. so will reap the benefits of staying warm and dry whilst I can ;D ;D
