Thanks guys.. I thought i might have to drain it out!
Allso.. 'This may sound a stupis question' But people hjave been asking me if the pure water we use is drinkable?
-
It is perfectly drinkable if you drink it straight out of the RO Machine. However, if you leave it standing in a tank, then there is no defense against bacteria as you have stripped the chlorine out of the water (which is the very reason that the water board put chlorine in).

But bacteria takes time to grow right? I have 800ltrs in the ibc take in my garden just sitting there waiting to be used money... I will test to make sure its still pure enough to use... It should be

Why don`t you have a DI in the van.
-
everything is in the garden... i just pump it into the van in the morning
-
Bacteria doubles in size every 20mins ???
-
may be wrong but once its been through a di dont drink it. I did last summer and it turned my guts to jelly
-
i tried it and my guts also turned to jelly a big mistake must be todo with the chlorine. DONT DO IT.......................................... :o
-
don,t drink it , because you,ve taken all ds out it tries to return to iots natural state and takes all the vitamins and minerals out of you , that why you will get a dodgy gut .

So if the water's pure, what do these bacteria eat?

The water is only pure by window cleaning standards. What we remove is dissolved solids down to 1 million parts. The water may still have bacteria, etc in it. This of course poses no problems for cleaning windows with but technically it is not really 'pure'. Some websites have described WFP window cleaning as sterilizing the windows which of course is absolute rubbish. Bacteria only needs light and oxygen to multiply in water.

Ah, right.
I've always told my customers that, because it sounds "super clean" ;D
