Title: Tank cages
Post by: Davew on November 16, 2007, 03:23:23 pm
Just wondered as most tanks are standard sizes, does anyone sell the stainless cages as a seperate concern? Only asking cos if i could improve what i have, it would be to have a proper cage bolted by a professional rather than my diy effort. Although mine looks safer than some i have seen i'm not 100% happy more like 80%.

Lots of money but they look pretty, when strapping a pro would advise you to go through the floor and round the chassis,if you strap a tank and use the strapping points in the van it`s only going to be as strong as those anchor points,it dosen`t matter how strong the belts are if the hooks are flimsey.I would just do the above properly and get a flat tank.

Varitech in Newton Abbot have them fabricated using stainless steel and supply to some cleaning websites not mentioning any names but we all know them :)
