Post by: paulchambers on November 11, 2004, 09:40:04 am
I have a large polyproplene carpet (yes i did a burns test three times to establish this) which is brown but should be pink  ;D ;D ;D . I checked the backing and was expecting a polyproplene backing but its hessian is this normal its a deep pile carpet loop and cut loop you know the type i mean.

Was thinking of using blitz wih a acid rinse  am i using the  correct chemicals please.   Paul

Paul, Blitz is just a pre spray. Use on traffic lanes etc, then use a normal hwe chemical, ie hydra dri.

I presprayed with blitz and hwe with a acid rinse the carpet is now pink againand customer is extremely happy.  I Was a bit concerned i left the carpet with a ph5 not sure if that was good enough was thinking it should of been ph7 .    Paul
