ctcs.info
ctcs.cn
ctcs.me.uk
ctcs.tv
ctcs.cc
ctcs.org.uk
ctcs.nu
ctcs.ac

Many Thanks

Paul

Thanks Mark,

ctcs.info was my favorite, but i like your idea too??

Do many of you chaps generate much work with a web site?
I'm promised my site will appear at the top of all major seach engines if one of 10 key words is entered, this in my area of cambridgeshire/suffolk.

That would be great !! It's not going to happen tho. Your web designers can only do their best with the site i.e keywords etc. They do not have any control over search engines, which are fickle things. I could get you in the top 5 ranking slots but it takes time, especially with google. Get them to put that in writing and ask for a discount if it does'nt happen !  :o

Paul,

What about www.1stchoicectcs.com. , which is available and has the added benefit of being a command.

I'm at the top of the search engines in essex and local areas and I've done all that myself.

Cheers,

Doug

Hello there,

Here is an Idea for all of you guys , why not have your sites hosted in Ireland with an Irish company.  You can still have the .com .co.uk .info .biz whatever but it could save you a lot of money with the exchange from Sterling to Euro being so good.   I use a company called host Ireland. and their address is www.hotsireland.ie it might be worth looking into.

Evening all,

Doug, how did you find out if the web site name was available and how did you go about setting up your own web site?

I've heard that unregistered small businesses can protect their 'company' name by setting up a web site by claiming domain on the name.

Thanks.
Cheryl

Cheryl,

www.register.com , just type in your preferred name and it will search which is available.

Personally I would'nt  bother with anything other than .com or .co.uk.

My site cost less than £100 a year and it's template based so any idiot , myself included can do it. :D

Cheers,

Doug
