Title: cleaning reproduction lamp-posts.how much?

hi,ive been asked to clean 4 old-style lamposts tomorrow,they are about 8 foot high and covered in moss i was going to pole the top section and use an aplicator for the posts,has anyone cleaned these before and if so how much did you charge-i was thinking £10 per lamp

i personally would charge more, but i think you have to be careful, the water will go every were and the brush will be prone to falling has your scrubbibg(if you get wot i mean).

You will have to cone your working area off to keep the public out of the way ect

If they're still wired up and work I'd be thinking in terms of being electrocuted.

i doubt you will get electrocuted, i mean there made to be in allweather conditions and iv not heard of anyone getting electrocuted from a lamp post??

they will be switched off and they are in a garden so no need for cones,i thought £10 might be a bit cheap although its a good customer and i reckon 2 hours maximum

a local golf club I do the windows for have 4 of these lamps leading up their driveway.  I cleaned all of them( just the glass bits as the rest was ok) and had a cuppa in 1 hour.  Charged £25  , they looked brand new and the owner was chuffed. 

Charge a good hourly rate.
