Ive got about 3000 and need a van to hold a 400 liter tank?
Any ideas? ???

Kangoo / partner / berlingo but try to get the higher payload model of 800kg instead of 600kg.

do you think they will be big enough?

Citroen Dispatch 2.0 Turbo Diesel payload 900kg
Ive got a 400ltr tank and a Citroen dispatch and its perfect.. Loads of room left for other bits as well
If you have the cash to get a bigger one than a berlingo size , i would.. i went and looked at a berlingo and stuck my tank it the back and there was next to nothing room left!

I have a scudo with a 400ltr lay flat tank i have covered the tank with a shelf so you can still use the area above the tank for other stuff you may want to carry more than enough room although i would advise to get a turbo diesel i didnt and the van has no guts nevermind next year i will get another van but with a turbo this time

An upright tank will cure that.

Bigger the better I feel are wise words for this post.

I know a lot of you lads are using transits, vivarios, primstars etc. but what do you actually use all that space for?
-
Bullying other drivers and reclining in luxury at lunchtime. ;D

not to many window cleaners in my areas ;) have secret side to van is getting quite full now, will have to ship them abroad soon, not sure if it will work, as most people in confinded van spaces are coming into england :P

If i had a van your size i think i would put a portaloo inside to increase my tea drinking capacity. At the moment i am doing a survey of suitable secluded spots for my human ro unit. ;)

250 ltr... whats the payload?
-
I have a Dispach and a 400 ltr flat tank in the back, but I would advise you to go for a bigger van if you can, as I wish that I had gone for a Transit or similar so that I could have a 800ltr tank as it is very frustrating when you run out of water half way through the day! As Windowashers said 'the bigger the better'!!
-
I have a Peugeot Partner 1.9 td. With a mid section bulkhead and 2 extra seats in the middle. Poles and ladders on the roof .
I use a 250lt tank and still have enough room for to hose reels and all my trad stuff.
Before this I had a Transit and it was empty apart from the tank and hoses. If you dont use all the space why have a huge van.
-
How do you manage with only a 250ltr tank? I have to refill my 400ltr tank about 2pm most days.

because if you want to grow a 250l tank is no where big enough and having extra space is always a good thing to have, hear so many people saying I wish I had a bigger van, my advice is get the biggest you can if you want to stay small go for a small van

The payload for this van is 730kg so you would be fine with a 400ltr tank. by all accounts it's a great little engine & with the price of diesel only going one way this is the van i would choose in this catagory (if buying new). an 850kg model is available too.

I always save bungalows to do at the end of my days work lists, so when the tank is empty I do those.
I will get a bigger van eventually but I cope with my little 250lt tank. Did a school the other week and managed ok with it. When the commercial side of things pick up I will move up to something 'Vito' sized but at the moment I manage ok.
The only reall reason I'd get a bigger van is to put a thermopure system in.

thanks mac mac

Get a medium sized van, vivaro, trafic etc.

Those size tanks would be fine in either van.
