Hi All,
What does it mean by "Hybrid" pole?
Thanks
David

It`s a mix of carbon and fibreglass

Thanks mate ;)
Thought so but I couldn't see that written in any of the descriptions.

It's a good question. Hybrid is the name that Exel have come up with for the pole, but a better name would be composite as it is a composite mix of Glass Fibre and Carbon Fibre.
When I think of Hybrid I think of something that is a mix of different types of items. For instance a part modular part telescopic pole would fit the title Hybrid better.

Its one of the terms that confuses everyone and me ? actually means not a lot.
-
Hybrid means anything of mixed origin,so what they mean by a "hybrid pole" is a mix of carbon and fibreglass
-
if they just called them mongrel poles it would be a bit easier.
if that comes about, you know who started it ;)
-
Is a mongrel a rabid hybrid pole ;D
-
My bicycle is a Hybrid and its not made of carbon or fibreglass. :-\
Hey.......does that mean I ride a mongrel :o
