hey guys
What do you lot reckon to these vacuums.
They are very similar to the original hoover juniors that were out, which involves all dirt picked up passing through the suction fan before going to the dust bag,
I think for things like hair and fluff machines like this are a lot better at picking up as the motors dont have to be as powerfull as the source of suction is closer to the carpet.
Im thinkin of getting one.
Would this be better than a dyson?

Get a Sebo and know that you have brought a decent Vac.

Are these Nilco 275 not a very good cleaner then?

Just looked at Spec Richard. That is a good machine mate, bit expensive though.

Have you seen the advert in the sle section "grab a bargain" (not mine)
You may or may not find it interesting.

richard, i'll give you a tip on how good sebo's are, i clean a large golf club that has alot of carpet, & they've been using the same 4 sebo's for the last 16yrs & they are still going strong. freshi

Most CC's use Sebo's. That should tell you something. The Sebo BS36 is similar spec to the Nilco but a bit cheaper. Would definitley go with Sebo. Frreshi is right (for once ;D). They just don't break down.

There's two refurbs on ebay through Gccs I think. They are B36s but badged something else. Think they were going for £90-120.
I use a 'misting' attachment on my speedster. Great suck but the turbo beater is not up to an upright.

The Nilco brand is very good brand. This machine is a single motor vacuum, which will be suffice for most jobs. However I prefer to use dual motor vacuums as I find they last longer and are more powerful.
I prefere the sebo as posted above and the B36/46 or the Dart are both good and out of the 2 I now use the Dart more as it is easier to use, the other Brand I would advise is the Nilfisk and in particular the Nilfisk GU350A, all these machines are twin motored and have good pile lifting properties.
