A port? maybe a caravan/motorhome shop?
-
A lot of guys now route their hoses onto the bumper so when selling their van all they need to do is put a plastic can on the two holes.
-
I think there called manifolds ???
Marcus...
-
i think brodex sell them
-
i put a hole in the floor of the van. put a longer hose from the pump through the hole and connect to the reel. can then lock the van. i use a cork stopper to fill the hole when not in use.

Hole through floor, connector in/on/under bumper..... Port through side of van.....
Don't bother, too much hassle coupling/uncoupling hoses and connectors, loosing water, reel in and out of van.
Just connect a length of microbore between pump and hosereel and if you include a quick release mounting for the hosereel in the van, then you can use the reel in or out the van and still shut and lock the doors with the microbore through the rubber seals, been using it this way for ages now and works a treat.

Ain't got a pic sorry.
What I've found easiest for me is ....
You can just leave the hosereel inside the van, reel out the required amount of hose then shut and lock van door, the microbore will be fine trapped between the door seals.
This is ok but gets a pain having to reel out then return to van to lock up.
The way to get the hosereel out the van and be able to lock the doors can't be done with the 13mm pump to reel hose (too bulky to shut doors), so just buy a couple of reducing barbs and cut the 13mm hose and stick in a 3 to 4 ft length of microbore, now you can either leave the reel in the van shutting the doors on the microbore hose, or put it outside the van shutting the doors on the 3 to 4ft piece of microbore you added.
Just make a quick release to secure the hosereel in van and you are done.
Hope that makes sense :)
