Yes WW, it's am email given as a web address isn't it? You'd have thought the signers would have pointed this out to him.
If he entered your comptition he could address both issues. I notice jv price was very complimentary about your efforts.

Hmm, maybe WW, but anyone with any internet knowledge (i.e. people who would be using e-mail)would know this is an e-mail address.

I use email and i thought it was a website!

www stands for world wide web, you would never start an email address with www

did you choose this mail address yourself? because i would immediatly punch that in to look at your website and not even think it could be your email address

£49 would get you a one page on my site, add £20 and you have domain name and email aswell, the easier thing to do would be to go to www.windowwashers.co.uk click on webdesign there are a few package prices up there, but can make what ever one needs some want bifg some small some half way.

p.s my last reply was a joke, In a good mood today  ;D
a sales man  :o, more of a direct advisor  ;D
Prices are for a year.

thats a little expensive Ian, your not actually getting your own site unless you get on to the £149.99 package. thats a little steep IMO. a one page site would take no loner than an hour to do...just my thoughts! ;)

The £149 package includes hosting etc domain name free from forum members till jan 08 and a page on my site, a 1 page website on its own will not work very well as there is not enough to market IMO hence why I offer 1 page on my site as this will work as I have many pages far more than most window cleaners, I set up all the marketing within that price which makes it very cheap, these prices are going up in the new year.  if you break down what you get and what you get you will see infact that price is very low.
One more thing my site is doing very very well online, there are other places you pay alot more than that for just a link with a few details.  ;)
I on the other hand like to see people getting a return on the money they pay out (been window cleaning a long time and heard many horror storys from others about they websites ect.

One last thing before I go off for an hour, £49 page on my site is only available to 1 person per town, this is ideal for people that want to test the Internet with little outlay, they can register a domain name and it would go straight to their page on windowwashers.co.uk. less than One customer pays it for a year, now would you say that is expensive ?

ok no problem, so how does your site generate traffic to someone elses in a total different region? i'm not to clued up on the whole coding thing, i know my, descriptions, metatags and keywords are all relevant to search engines and i can get a website up into the top page in google on the searches. What marketing to you get included in that price? i think it may be benificial if you state exactly what you get for your money?

sorry to hijack the post, i will not anymore after this answer :-[

ok, quick relpy as I have to shoot off for a bit.

Marketing on anywebsite design is done when designing from start upwards many forget to do this or do not know how. a few things I do I would not say on here. also marketing on www.windowwashers.co.uk is done by me online it is in my interest to get whoever comes on my site custom, I do this as I have a passion for marketing I dont charge at the moment as thats all included in with the price.

If some of the people that I have helped in the past see this post please say if I really did help you or not.

Not much more I can say to be honest, getting on a search engine is easy staying where you want is the trick  ;)

Going into my marketing to much would be very silly of me, there are a few on here that would love to read excactly would I do in the way of marketing, not going to ever happen sry  ;)

£149 is 1 page designed (fully expandable) with professional hosting, own domain name ,own email, support if needed, also marketing, and page on our site with marketing on that is ongoing which in turn helps with the site I design,

p.s the £149 is a one-off cost on going after 1 year it is £99 per year, this is includes all of the above, I personally would not have a one page site on its own but I have to cater for everyones budget this is why it is expandable  ;)

As a person or Company I am not out to rip people off, I just offer a service that works for the people using it  ;)
