high tide in lowestoft at 8.42 am. Think i'll get up at daybreak and have a nose around.
I'm on the edge of the severe flooding risk map. About 100 metres away from flood drain so should be alright.
Quite excited though. Got buildings insurance.
Just checked the postcodes that are at risk of flood. Mine isn't on there but the street behind is.

well norfolk suffered a bit, walcot looked bad a lot of wreckage. but it was not as bad as it could of been. for once a goverment body done a great job.
-
cost the goverment thousands, there were appliances from mersyside.warrington, tyne and wear, west yorkshire and cheshire all in great yarmouth for the day, but at the end of the day, better of safe than sorry.
glad no one was hurt or killed,
