pump strainer
Thanks Alex, what does it do??
-
its a strainer for your pump. screw it on your pump by hand- it goes on the inlet side to strain the water for any crap that might damage your pump if it wasnt there and got sucked in, just a precaution really but worth having, the water can still flow through it very well.
unscrew and clean the filter every now and then. :-[

pump strainer
CORRECT!! :)
It screws straight onto the INLET side of the pump then you screw a hose connector onto it. It sits between tank and pump to stop any cr+p getting into the pump diaphragms. It takes very little rubbish to stop the diaphragms from working.
B=GGER!! Jonrob beat me to it. and he told u to clean it out as well :'(
